Godly Play is a unique children's ministry "curriculum". There's a heavy emphasis on telling a story in such a fashion as to create time and space for children to "wonder" about it and see their place in the story. One unique thing about Godly Play is its ability to connect with anyone (adults and children alike!).
See their websites at http://www.godlyplay.org or http://www.godlyplay.org.uk
A week ago, we had two full days of training in Godly Play thanks to trainer David Pritchard. We learned how to tell six different parables of Jesus and how to lead children (and adults!) through "wondering" about the story.
Here's a photo diary of our Godly Play training day.
The Parable of the Leaven
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
The Parable of the Pearl
The Parable of the Good Samaritan
The Parable of the Good Shepherd
The Parable of the Sower
(Carolyn, is this a good picture of you or what?!) Smiles...

Troy, it's Paul (Fall 2003-the guy w/the cane). I found these pics from Kelly & April's website. BTW, will be in Madrid next week! Even though I'm back in the US, I've never stopped praying for you & Mountainview! :)
