My, how time flies!
Summarizing where we've been and where we are and where we'll be:
One possible answer: in a pre-existent state, on earth and in heaven.
The answer you've all been waiting for, however, follows:
We went to Kansas to spend time with my brother Tony and his wife Kim. A nice bonus was that Tony's kids Chelsea and Chase were there and Kim's daughter Jennifer was there too. We went out on the lake for a couple of days, which Meaghan enjoyed since she got to ride on the tube a whole lot.
We left Kansas on a Sunday and arrived in Colorado Springs. We made a short pit stop there and then proceeded on to my sister's which was two hours away. The kids loved this since they had plenty of cousins to play with and I loved it since we played "Catch Phrase" for hours. It was fun.
Back to the Springs for a few days. Thursday of that week we had a dessert with people interested in our ministry that was hosted by our good friends Pat and Larry Dickinson.
Last Saturday, I traveled to Spokane where I performed a narrative sermon (called "George") for a church called New Community there. It was a really great time, and I enjoyed meeting Rob (the pastor), his wife (Robi) and his three kids (Karli, Zach, and Trey). I also had the chance to meet lots of other folks in the church, and even played "Shakespeare in a Box" with them on Saturday night and enjoyed a "Movie on a Wall" near a really cool coffee shop in downtown Spokane. It was a fun night (thanks to Zach and Karli for showing me a good time).
I traveled back from Spokane on Monday, and we had one day left in Colorado Springs, which we used to connect with our friend Julie in the morning, pack in the afternoon and have dinner with Pat, Larry and Lucy that night. It was sad to say goodbye to them, but we are grateful we got the chance to see them all.
Yesterday we flew to Minneapolis. My mom picked us up and we spent the day at her house, ending it with a great meal consisting of BBQ ribs, corn on the cob and baked potatoes.
We are camped out now at our friends from college, Scott and Becky Nelson. Right now Scott and Becky are in Scandinavia to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary, but their kids are still here (being babysat by Becky's parents). Our kids are grateful for the chance to play with some more kids their age, so that is nice.
Okay, that's about it. I'll try to write more regularly now, since we have wireless internet access (Scott is a computer geek, of sorts). Heather is smiling and so am I since we bought Cap'n Crunch and Lucky Charms cereal yesterday.
More later,
Troy

Any chance of you getting to visit a fully-equipped Godly Play classroom on your travels??? Try checking out on local Episcopalian churches.
