not dead yet
Hello. I am not dead yet. Sorry I have been unable to post anything for an age.
I have been adjusting to some new things I've been part of lately. First, I'm taking an internet-based class through a school in the States, and that has kept me a little busy. Second, I just got back yesterday from a trip to Portugal in which two other people and I helped a new team there articulate vision and values for their ministry. It was a really good trip, but I'm glad to be back home again.
Today we went ice skating. Meaghan did really well, without having to hold anyone's hand at all. Nic held my hand most of the time but occasionally he was able to skate on his own, going about 5 yards at a time until falling.
After skating a bunch came over to our house and we played Tetris on the TV. In early January, I bought a version of Tetris that you can plug into your TV and play against each other. The girls (that is, Heather, Kelly and Victoria) refer to my winning streak as "the reign of terror." Today, however, I do believe it was Kelly who had the edge.
Crulls, I'm waiting for you to get your butts back here so I can give them a whooping.
Swac, I won't bother whooping your butt since I think that it might hurt my hand should I try.
Hopefully, I'll be a better blogger for, oh, let's say, 5 days. Actually, I fully intend to put an end to the blog abuse/neglect. Thanks for hanging with me.
